d) Pastor Don spoke with Bethany @ 214-828-5205 to confirm the registration for 10 people.
e) Helper for children ministry at FBC Denton : Mary Dean
f) We will study & evaluate 5 different curriculums and also receive age specific training on Lifeway and Baptist Way press materials.
g) People to be invited to attend: Pastor Don, Pastor Paul, Pauline, Flora, Mengpei, Jian, Cerina, Hui, Kaho, Sandy, Linda, Albert, and people who have interest to attend Waterbury mission trip.
2. 7/19-24 Youth short term mission trip
a) Waterbury contact person:
b) Lodging:
i. Stay in Southbury Baptist Church, boys & girls stay in separate rooms. They have a full kitchen for mission team to use. One shower in the church to use. Mission team needs to clean the facilities each day.
ii. Motel information
c) Transportation:
i. Van rental: require Friday (7/17) pick up
ii. Airport to camp site
iii. Motel to camp site
d) Meals:
e) Confirm teaching materials Feb 09
f) Confirm youth participants, by Missions conference. March 09
g) Training for camp. April-May Sundays
3. Pastor Don
a) Pastor Don will discuss with Amy regarding Pastor’s clarification of the subcommittee’s report and bring back to staff meeting next week.
4. Mission conference
a) Need to send letters to missionaries Rev. Samuel Wai, Rita Leung regarding decrease yearly offering to $1200 & Pat Zukera regarding discontinue offering.
